CHANDIGARH: If the weathermen are to be believed, the city will get drenched after Tuesday. “The temperature is likely to rise on Monday and Tuesday. After that, there are chances of heavy rainfall,” says Surender Paul, director, meteorological department, Chandigarh.
The maximum temperature on Sunday was 35.5 degree celsius, while the minimum was 27.9 degree celsius.

The maximum was expected to hover around the 35 mark and the minimum around 25 to 29 degrees. There was a rise in the humidity level as it touched 67% on Saturday and 85% on Sunday. The weather would remain dry for another two days.
There may be occasional showers in between, which may affect the humidity level. According to the Met department, it would be generally cloudy on Monday with a possibility of light rain.
